What if I don't want to receive email travel alerts?
Simply don't select any preferred destinations, events, or activities in your personal profile.

Will others see my name when I'm posting a new plan or joining an active plan?
No. The activity on our website is totally anonymous to all users.

When I post my travel plans or join an active plan am I committed to those plans?
No. You are not committed to your plans until a full match occurs, the flight itinerary and actual cost are to the satisfaction of all participating travel parties, and all parties have paid. You may cancel your plans at anytime prior to the flight being "confirmed".

Once you have become a member and have access to the site, here is how other members will join you to share the cost of a flight.

1. View Your Travel Alerts
Every member can set up their travel preferences so that the system notifies them via email when others are planning a trip between a particular origin and destination. This means that whenever other members post a plan to go to any of your favorite destinations, you will receive an email alert. You can join them and share the cost of the flight. It also means that whenever you post a plan, our system notifies all members with travel preferences that match your itinerary. You will even receive an email alert when empty aircraft are flying to your favorite destinations.

2. Get a Cost Estimate
You can get a quick estimate of the cost to charter a plane between any two cities served by Flight Maker. Simply select an Origin and Destination to view an estimated cost for the three aircraft types: Light Jet, Mid Size Jet, and Heavy Jet. You will get an estimate of our Standard Pricing, Special One Way Pricing, and Empty Leg Pricing for all three categories of aircraft.

3. Search Active Plans
You can search for active plans to join or for available empty legs. Quickly view the current activity and available flights between any two cities you select. Or narrow your search by selecting additional criteria, such as range of dates, or aircraft type. You can even find plans that allow children or plans that don't allow children. If you see a plan that's right for you, you can "join" it.

4. Post a New Plan
What if you don't find a plan that's "just right?" If there are no active plans you want to join, you can "Post a New Plan" of your own, for others to join. Indicate the number of people in your travel party. Select your origin and destination, a travel date, or range of dates that would work for you, the type of aircraft you wish to fly in, and the pricing plan you wish to use. You can even decide on the total number of passengers you want on the plane, and whether or not you would like to travel with children on board. Then just "post" your new plan. Other members will see your plan and may "join" you. All of this is presented in an easy to use, step-by-step format.

5. The Matching Process
You can "join" any active plans that match your desired travel itinerary. Likewise, when you "Post a New Plan", other members can "join" your plan, based on the criteria you specified. The system automatically notifies other members with the same origin and destination in their travel preferences. The system also lets you know via email when other members join your plan, or when a full match occurs. You can cancel your plans at any time during the matching process. Our sophisticated software organizes everything. Unlike online reservation systems, this process is simply a matching of travel plans. There is no commitment on your part until a full match occurs and all the details, including price, are acceptable to you.
