Some Frequently Asked Questions about Flight Maker
Are children allowed to travel?
You have your choice. When posting a new plan, you will have the choice of selecting "Children On Board", "No Children Allowed", or "No children in our party but OK for other parties with children to join". When joining an active plan, the system will let you know if children are allowed. We define a child as 10 years of age or younger.
How will I know where to go when I arrive at the departure airport?
Flight Maker will supply you with directions and information well in advance of the departure date.

How It Works - Confirming Flight
1. Once a Match has occurred
A "match" occurs when the entire cost of the flight is covered. At this point a Flight Maker Customer Representative will contact you to finalize the itinerary details. We then send out a request for a quote to all of our charter operators. We select the best quote, and then contact you with the actual cost. If all the details, including the cost, are acceptable to you, you will be asked to pay for your portion of the flight (payment to Flight Maker, by credit card only). Once you've paid for the flight, you are committed to the trip and the flight status becomes "Confirmed". You can plan your trip knowing your "Confirmed" flight will depart as scheduled, even if other parties cancel. There is no increase in your cost if others cancel.
2. Preparing for your trip
If you've never chartered a private jet, it's very simple. We take care of all the details. After the flight is "Confirmed" your Customer Representative will send you a list of travel guidelines that explain the do's and don'ts of traveling with us. Your Customer Representative will also be available to answer any additional questions you might have, including ground transportation, parking, and directions. We coordinate everything.
