How It Works - Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Policy
After your flight is confirmed and you've paid your portion of the total cost, you may not change your plans unless you have also purchased Cancellation Insurance. If you have to cancel, for any reason, you will forfeit the full amount of your cost of the flight. If you do have to cancel, we will repost the flight and attempt to sell your portion to other members. If we are successful in reselling your portion of the flight cost, you will recover your forfeited money.
2. Cancellation Insurance
When you pay for your portion of the flight cost, you may elect to purchase Cancellation Insurance. By purchasing the Insurance, you have the right to cancel at anytime up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, and receive a refund of 75% of your portion of the flight cost (insurance cost is included in your total cost). The cost for the Cancellation Insurance is 10% of your portion of the flight cost. For example, if your portion of the flight cost is $4,000, the Cancellation Insurance will cost $400. In this example, if you had to cancel, you would be refunded $3,300 (75% of $4,400). There is no right to cancel less than 24 hours before scheduled departure.
